Hi, my name is Dave Walker. I’ve been playing guitar since age twelve and teaching since 1997. As a teenager I studied pop and rock guitar for four years with Eric Golding at his home studio here in Hamilton, studied jazz guitar with Rob Bulger at the Toronto Guitar Institute, and spent four years studying classical guitar with Barton Wigg at Toronto’s Royal Conservatory of Music. I have also earned a Professional Certificate in Jazz Guitar from Berklee College in Boston, MA, USA.

I played with such noteable bands as Oliver Twist, a pop/rock band, during my McMaster University days, and later travelled across Canada with a full-time 80’s A List touring band, The Web.

I enjoy all kinds of music!
